Our culture runs on performance. We have to ACHIEVE to BE! The easiest trap is to live from a place where your identity is connected to your performance. One of the most difficult changes to make for high performers is to believe that God has already blessed you before you do ANYTHING for Him! We see this from the beginning of Scripture in Genesis 1:28 God creates humanity and then blesses them! BEFORE He commands them to “lead”

         “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

THE BLESSING CAME BEFORE ANY PERFORMANCE!

 If you are going to be sustained in leadership. If you are going to make it! If you are going to be a leader worth following... you must lead from the belief that God’s Heart is to bless you before you ever do ANYTHING FOR HIM.
